Substance Abuse

We offer intensive outpatient (IOP) group and individual therapy options for people struggling with alcohol or substance abuse issues. Dual diagnoses patients with anxiety, depression and bipolar diagnosis in addition to alcohol and chemical abuse are included. Borderline diagnosis patients are handled in individual therapy.

Alcohol & Substance Abuse Education

Designed for schools and parent-teacher or community groups, our interactive educational program helps students and parents to:

Understand real world risks of behaviors involving alcohol and drugs including prescription drugs, street drugs, and household convenience chemicals.
Identify symptoms of alcohol and substance abuse.
Cope with real world situations at school, in the community, and at home where alcohol and chemicals are readily available.

Our program(s) are available in two formats:

Real World Counseling staff will deliver the program to your student audience, and/or to your PTA/PTO audience.
Our train-the-trainer program prepares your school teachers, counselor, psychologists to deliver the interactive training modules to your students, parents, community members. This model also includes Continuing Education Units for school counselors, psychologist and teachers.
